Road Safety

On Tuesday the 2/4/19 all of Ms Dowling’s class and some of Ms Dalton’s class went down to the halla to learn about road safety.

Our road safety instructor, Aleksandra, told us some scary but crucial information about the dangers of the road.

She told us that last year 149 people died on Irish roads. This the lowest amount of people killed on the road in Irish history. She explained that these were funerals that didn’t need to happen because some could have been prevented.

After she told us all the stories about the danger of the road. We were allowed to go and explore the kiddie village and they gave us out safety licences. It was a fun and interesting experience.
