Resource Teaching Ideas
A big hello to all of the boys and girls who come to the Resource Rooms upstairs and downstairs at school. We are missing you all very much and we are looking forward to getting back to our usual routines and seeing you all again.
We know that this is a stranage time for you and we want you to know that we are so PROUD of you all. You will forever be remembered as the generation of children who stayed at home to keep others safe. Try to look for positives each day and check in here every week to see new and fun activities that you can try out at home! These are just ideas and there is no need to feel under pressure to complete it all. Have fun!

Story Time
The Huge Bag of Worries
This is a brilliant book which explores emotions and wellbeing. Worry follows Jenny in a big blue bag, it’s around wherever she goes, even when relaxing and watching TV! Will Jenny get the help she needs to rid of the worry?
After listening to the story and looking at the illustrations, why not have a go at some of the activities listed below.
Close your eyes and think about your worries.
What do they look like?
What do they sound like?
What do they feel like?
Jenny, the little girl in the book had worries that looked like monsters. Draw a picture of some of your worries and / or write any words to describe your worries.
Minding Ourselves & Our Thinking
