Viking’s Projects

Fourth class studied the Vikings in November and we learned lots of interesting facts about the Vikings. In each class we worked hard in small groups on different topics.

We researched information about their background, family life, battles, lands they raided, religion and their long boats. We completed a mini project based on these and presented them to the class.

We constructed Viking long boats similar in colours to the original boats they had during Art. We also designed our very own Viking shields.

We also studied their alphabet and created posters of our own names in Runes.
