Green School Event

Some members of the Green Team were recently invited down to County Hall to take part in a green schools meeting along with other primary schools in Portlaoise. It was such a fun and informative few hours. We played games, had a quiz, had some treats but we also had some serious issues to discuss! We talked about how to improve the traffic situation around our schools and we discussed our first WOW Day(Walk on Wednesday). We will be having an exciting WOW Day in December so keep your ears peeled for information on that! Next week is Clean Air Week so we will be asking people not to leave their cars idling which is leaving the engines running while the cars are stationery.
