Valentine’s Walk

Great fun was had in Scoil Bhride on Valentine’s Day as we celebrated love and also Green Schools Great Travel Challenge! The green team encouraged as many pupils as possible to travel to school by walking/cycling/scooting/parking and striding or car pooling.  Unfortunately, we did not have very good weather on Friday morning but everyone still made a massive effort to travel to school in a healthy way and also to wear the colours of love! There was a great atmosphere in school on the day.  We gave out some prizes to children who made a good effort.  Friday marked the end of our green schools Art competition also. We have received amazing entries and we don’t know how we will choose the winners!!
