Use your Maths Eyes!!!
I have been searching for images to get you all practising using your Maths Eyes. I passed this filling station yesterday, put on my Maths Eyes and this is what I came up with:
- How much dearer is petrol than diesel?
- How much would it cost to fill my car with petrol if my tank holds 50litres?
- How much would it cost to fill my tank with diesel if my tank holds 50litres?
- If I only had €50.00 how many litres of petrol could I buy?
- If I had €70.00 how many litres of diesel could I buy?
- Are these prices good value for petrol/diesel?
- How much does petrol/diesel cost in Portlaoise this week?
Take a look at the image with your child this evening and see if you can work out the answers together!
