World Book Day

Last Thursday the 6/3/19 was world book day. World book day is all about encouraging people to read more and like books.

Our school dressed up as their favourite character from their favorite book and brought in a book to tell the class about it. Some people brought in Harry potter books,David Walliams books and Michael Morpurgo books to name but a few.

Then a few people in our class went down to Ms. Scully’s junior infants class to read books to them.

After that all of our class got some junior infants books so we could get some inspiration from them to write and illustrate our own books. We then read our books to Ms. Quinn’s junior infants class.
