Boys Football

The boys football team is competing in Roinn 5 of this years Cumann na mBunscoil competition. In the first match, we played away to Timahoe. Despite playing very well, we were unlucky to loose by a goal. The final score was Timahoe 5-10, Scoil Bhride 4-10.

The second game, a home game against Paddock, was also a high scoring game. Both teams enjoyed periods of dominance. Scoil Bhride eventually ran out winners by 7-09 to 8-02.

Castletown were our next opponents. All the boys played very well and we won the game by 8-12 to 4-04.

Our most recent game was against Killanure. Again it was a very close, even contest. Scoil Bhride emerged victorious again to make it three wins in a row. The win keeps us very much in contention for a place in the semi-final.

Our final game will be played next Tuesday against Mountrath.
