Our school held a fundraiser on Friday last to celebrate Autism Rainbow Day. All children and staff members wore colourful clothes on the day . All donations will go to Laois Offaly Families for Autism. (LOFFA)

12 children from 5th class engaged in woodwork workshops in Portlaoise College. This took place over a four week period. Well done to all.
Mr.Bartley’s 6th class joined our class for hands on peer to peer learning and teaching today, where they constructed 3D shapes and discusses all their characteristics. A fantastic lesson and enjoyed by all !
Ms.Phelan’s 4th class put what they were learning about 3D shapes and nets into action in a fun and active lesson. Everyone really enjoyed making their own 3D shapes and putting what they were learning into practice.
Ms. Phelan’s 4th class started their growing / planting journey. Planting out sunflower seeds this week. Watch this space for some lovely budding flowers
Our 4th class enjoying trying out some fruit and vegetables that they wouldn’t always eat. They really enjoyed not only tasting the fruit and vegetables but also exploring the textures and how they sat with their senses. Some found their new fruit and vegetable to eat as snacks for lunch too
